Inspections
Depending on the outcome of these inspections, one of two things may happen:
1. Either each milestone is successfully closed and the contingencies will be removed, bringing you one step closer to the close, or
2. After reviewing the property inspections and the papers, the buyer may reserve the right to request or renegotiation on the terms of contract. Sometimes these negotiates relate to the sales price, a credit towards closing costs, or of course the possibility of the seller making repairs. Lastly, if the inspection contingency has not been removed the buyer has the right to cancel the purchase if they are discouraged by the findings. Every property and transaction is different but your Realtor will help you navigate through the transaction as smoothly as possible.
