Jay helped us buy our first house in West Sacramento. After getting outbid on 2 houses, and with time running out on our lease, Jay kept us calm and confident and ultimately got us into the house of our dreams. In fact, his insight and experience in negotiating helped us get our house for below asking! With Jay, you don't only get him but you get his awesome network for just about anything you'd ever want when buying or selling a home (lender, insurance, inspectors, contractors etc.). Jay was with us through other unforeseen challenges that caused us a great deal of stress, and we were very grateful to have a true pro to help guide us through it all. With his attention to detail, you might think that he had a former career as a contractor, but he's just that good. Not only is Jay very experienced and knowledgeable about all things real estate, but he's a very kind and thoughtful person; you can tell that he truly cares about his clients and wants what's best for them. He is also very dedicated, most of our challenges that required his prompt attention were around the holiday season when his family were at Disney world in Orlando. Nonetheless, he was very responsive and always had time to promptly give us updates and respond to questions.

It's not hard to find a real estate agent, but it's not always easy to find someone that you enjoy working with. We are lucky that he was referred to us, and we are happy to consider him a personal friend; he deserves all of his success!

Wow! "Impressive" is the word we would use to describe Jay. We were referred to Jay from a Real Estate Agent in Boise Idaho who had told us he could help us sell our house quickly as we were considering moving to Boise to be close to our mom, but later decided to sell our house and get a bigger place so Mom can move in with us. Imagine that, his reputation as a top agent was far reaching to Boise! Jay had given us advice on how to stage our house. We followed his advice. When we had finished all the staging, we called Jay on a Tuesday and he said, "Ok, let's have an open house this weekend. He had someone come and take pictures, post them on the MLS Listing and Saturday Open House was a hit! Many potential buyers! Three days after the Open House, we had offers and the house was in escrow. We have sold and purchased homes in the past and have had Real Estate Agents working for us, but NONE of them compare to Jay. He is in a league of his own! He responded to our calls and texts every time within minutes. Sometimes I would send a text late at night because something came to mind and I thought he would probably respond in the morning, but he always responded right away. Impressive! While preparing the house to stage, whenever I asked him for recommendations for a handyman for repairs, beautifying yard & garden, garage door repair, counter replacement, Jay had resources that were very reasonable and they did a great job! We had a couple of complications that were resolved quickly. There was a complication with the buyers' mortgage company, Jay helped to resolve that too with a recommendation to the buyers. Jay helped us find the perfect house that will make it comfortable to move our mom here with us. Jay is the best Real Estate Agent we have ever had and we highly recommend him. He listens to what you want with his heart and works to make your dream come to life. He is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, resourceful, a great problem solver, and extremely responsive. He is a hard worker. We wondered if he ever sleeps! LOL

We found Jay through a friend that recommended him for his outstanding service and job he helped our friends with. We are from the bay area SJ, and housing market is ridiculous. We gave Jay a call and decided to house hunt in Elk Grove Ca. Jay drove an hour from Roseville Ca every meeting to meet us. I am a first time home buyer and although I did my homework and research, I still had a lot of questions and insecurities of what we wanted. So many must haves and donts, on the bucket list. Oh I should mention my wife is an HGTV fanatic, she watches all the shows from property brothers to fixer upper, men she was hard to please. Jay also accommodated my elderly inlaws to have a junior suite on the firstfloor. Jay, had a lot of knowledge and patience, he gave us a real answers and gave his thoughts on the houses we saw. I was glad he was on our side, he pointed out things that I would not have seen. We wanted a move in ready and as much as little maintenance needed before the move. I wish I can say everything went well but it didn't. 3 days before closing we found out that the sellers owed money on the property and could not come up with the cash to bring at closing. We were devastated, Jay was also furious. The cherry on top is that my family was going to be homeless in 15days because I already submitted my notice to vacate to my landlord and my landlord already had tenants lined up. After a day of heartache and nightmare, a light appeared ( angels humming, flashings lights bells and whistles) Jay with a smiling face said "Lets make this happen". Jay volunteered to surrender a huge portion of his commission and I had to cover rest. Although I was clinchin my pocket it was the only way to get our dream house. In the end Jay went above and beyond to get us our dream home. We appreciate what Jay has done and would recommend him to anyone and my family. There are good realtors and there are great realtors. Jay is the guy you want on your team and a GREAT one. We moved here from Florida a few months ago and were referred to Jay by a mutual friend. His professionalism and communication though out the entire process was exceptional. Buying a house via FaceTime, while in Florida, 2000 miles away was a little (really) scary. Jay took the time to get to know us, what we were looking for and patiently answer our never ending barrage of questions. When our expectations didn't quite match our budget, Jay was honest with us about what our realistic expectations should be in this competitive market. These type of honest conversations can be difficult but Jay is a great communicator and able to bridge the gap and make otherwise difficult or stressful conversations comfortable.

While I believe most realtors have varying degrees of strengths and weaknesses, Jay really has everything dialed in. While doing walk-thru's via FaceTime, he was able to spot issues and potential issues that I haven't seen other realtors catch. He walked us thru a potential kitchen remodel project and his ballpark budget estimate was spot-on. Once we found "the one" he went the extra mile writing the offer and negotiating on our behalf. When the seller asked for a 21 day close, Jay hustled for us and made it happen. All paperwork and documentation was organized and communicated timely and with absolutely zero hassle.

He is the only guy I would trust to by a house from that I haven't stepped foot in again. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell. He will hustle for you and work hard to truly EARN your business!

I decided I needed to look into buying a home when my apartment complex upped my rent nearly $200. I did not want to face a similar situation again in a year, so the hunt for a home began. I was a first time home buyer and didn't really know where to start. I was recommended Jay and after a quick Yelp search I was more than comfortable contacting him. I explained to Jay my situation and how overwhelmed I was with the prospect of house hunting. He reassured me that that is what he is there for. After speaking with Jay a few times on the phone and we arranged to look at houses.

In looking at houses, Jay has a wealth of knowledge and good advice. He is able to point out loads of helpful information that I would have not otherwise noticed or even considered. It's as if he is always thinking two steps ahead. With all his experience, he is easily able to identify issues that need addressing and give you a guesstimate on how much it would cost to resolve the issue. Jay listened to what was important in a house to me, he never tried to push any house on me, and he painted a realistic picture of what the difference in house prices means monthly. He knows the neighborhoods here and which ones a single female such as myself would be wise to avoid.

Jay was extremely easy to get ahold of throughout the whole process. He is quick to return a phone call and even quicker to respond to text and email. That sort of thing really comes in handy when you have odd questions regarding home buying at odd hours. He takes his time to explain the different aspects of home buying. Jay will not make your decisions for you, but he will stand by your side and provide you support and insight while you do.

In the end, Jay found me the absolute perfect house. He has my eternal gratitude! I am so elated to own the little slice of heaven and I could not have done it without him. Simply put, Jay is the hardest working Real Estate agent I know. Jay was, in this case, the buying and selling agent; therefore, instead of paying 5% commission on the sale of our house, we paid only 3% which put an additional $10,000 in the bank.
